On this tour you will be visiting Old San Juan, a walled city proud of its 500 years of history. It is famous for its romantic atmosphere, art galleries and unique shops. City Tour and Shopping in Old San Juan
After visiting Old San Juan, a walled city proud of its 500 years of history, you will have two hours to explore Old San Juan on your own and shop. Your tour guide will inform you of the meeting point for returning to your hotel. (Lunch not included). A tour of Fort San Cristobal is optional. Historical Walking Tour
We begin by visiting Plaza del Quinto Centenario. This town square represents the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Puerto Rico. As part of the tour you will walk through the Ballajá Barracks, the largest building constructed by the Spanish in the New World; explore El Morro Fortress including its upper platform and pay a short visit to the Museum. As you leave El Morro, you can walk to the gardens of Casa Blanca. This was the home of Ponce de León and his family. It is considered one of the oldest structures in the New World. Further on you will observe La Fortaleza, the official residence of the island's governor and the Western Hemisphere's oldest executive mansion in continuous use. You will also see La Rogativa, a sculpture representing Spain’s victory over the English. Another stop will be the San Juan Cathedral and a small Indian museum. The tour ends at Plaza de Armas for shopping. Lunch will be at local restaurants. It is highly recommended that you wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Evening Tour of Old San Juan

Hacienda Buena Vista and Ponce City Tour
Hacienda Buena Vista, considered one of Puerto Rico's best remaining examples of a coffee plantation, was the first to establish a farm to grow food and products to feed African and Puerto Rican slaves. It emphasized the importance of proper nutrition and opened the door to influence local humanitarian efforts that abolished slavery, in the then Spanish ruled Puerto Rico. The Hacienda consists of an 87 acre agricultural complex. At its height Hacienda Buena Vista produced and processed more than 10,000 pounds of coffee per year for shipment to Europe. Opened from Wednesday to Sunday. This tour includes a visit to Ponce, named after the great Spanish conquistador, Juan Ponce de León. This majestic city, known for its Spanish architecture, is our second largest city and is a historical site in Southern Puerto Rico. The beautiful Art Museum is a must.
